Creative photography is certainly a lot easier with a Lensbaby attached to the camera as I found out after taking delivery of a Lensbaby 2. Night Photography : Canon 5D With EF17-35mm F2.8L Lens

Getting out and doing a spot of night photography can often be very rewarding and is something I do enjoy given half the chance to do it. This collection of photos were taken in Beverley in Hengate Gardens. There was a lot of ambient light about, a lamppost and the flood lights on the monument were quite useful. For this night photography project I used a Hahnel HRC 280 Remote Shutter Release, a Canon EOS 5D Mark II and nice wide lens, the EF17-35mm F2.8L USM and a tripod! Arguably, the hardest type of sports photography I have done has to be swimming. As a sports photographer, I have been fortunate enough to shoot two swimming galas. Like all sports photography, the idea is to show the action and a where possible freeze the competing athlete in the shot at just the right moment. Sigma 30mm f1.4 EX DC HSM lens when mounted on my Canon camera has become one of the most used lens in my bag and something I always take to every job photography I go out on. The Sigma 30mm f1.4 EX DC HSM is my go to lens when I am shooting in number of different situations which require the camera to work fast when there is little ambient light and need to get the pictures without thumping up the ISO on my camera. Canon EF24-105mm f4L : A few winter morning pictures taken using a Canon EF24-105mm f4L IS USM. The lens was mounted to a Canon EOS 1D Mark III with the pictures being taken in Beverley and Hull.
